IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences (Austria) and the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (Spain) have signed a PhD cooperation agreement. This initiative builds on their shared membership in the UP University alliance and represents the first agreement of its kind within the network.

IMC Vice Academic Head Tanja Ihden emphasized the significance of the collaboration: “This agreement will enable Master’s graduates and junior researchers to advance academically at the doctoral level. It marks an important step for the involvement of Universities of Applied Sciences in doctoral programmes in general, and for the career development of academic staff and students in particular.”

Unlike other PhD cooperation programmes, this partnership is not restricted to specific disciplines. It is open to all faculties of the University of Vic.
